American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior’s Position Statements on Dominance and Punishment in Dog Training

Walking down the streets of Brooklyn watching dogs and their people through a dog trainer’s point of view can be saddening sometimes… choke chains, prong collars, alpha rolls, and random pokes and jabs. Don’t treat your dog’s behavior issues with force and aggression. It only begets more violence. Enough said.
