A Night Of Stand Up Comedy To Benefit Shelter Animals

My friend, Valerie, who works at the ASPCA sent me an invitation to what appears to be a wonderful event benefiting homeless cats and dogs.

“Sit, Stay and Stand Up!TM” was founded to help people with the adoption process and bring awareness to the thousands of dogs and cats in shelters waiting for the opportunity to be a “pet.” A dog or cat provides endless hours of laughter, enjoyment and love. With all the help a pet can give us in our time of need, they desperately need our help in return. What better pet to bring into your life than a rescue: A companion that needs you as much as you need them! This year we are working with the ASPCA to help raise money for their endeavors and to help people realize that adopting a pet is the only way to go. We have too many animals in shelters waiting for the opportunity to be part of your family. The stand-up community is “standing-up” to help! Your donation for an evening of laughter will help them help us.
Please . . . Let’s find them a home!
